Mkutano Mkuu wa Mwaka 2023

Mkutano mkuu wa Taasisi ya YPM Tanzania wenye lengo la kutathmini maendeleo ya taasisi, umefanyika katika ukumbi wa Utondolo tarehe 15 Aprili 2023, ukihudhuriwa na wajumbe, pamoja na wawakilishi wa serikali kutoka maeneo mbalimbali ya mkoa wa Tanga.

Mwenyekiti wa Mkutano huo ambaye pia ni mwenyekiti wa Bodi ya YPM Tanzania, Mch. Sembuyagi, alifanikiwa kuratibu mkutano huo kwa kusimamia uwasilishwaji wa ripoti mbalimbali ikiwemo, ripoti ya fedha, utekelezaji wa shughuli, mpango kazi wa utekelezaji wa shughuli za YPM pia changamoto na mafanikio yaliyopo katika Taasisi kwa mwaka 2022.

Aidha katibu wa mkutano, amabye pia ni Mkurugenzi wa Taasisi ya YPM, Mch. Walalaze alitolea ufafanuzi hoja mbalimbali zilizoibuliwa na wajumbe kutoka katika ripoti zilizosomwa, ikiwemo suala la umiliki wa ardhi ambalo bado lipo katika hatua za mwisho za makubaliano, ujenzi wa viwanja vya michezo, upatikanaji wa vitega uchumi kwa ajili ya maendeleo ya shirika, Pamoja na uwezeshaji wa vijana.

Akizungumzia sheria ya vikundi vidogo vya uwekaji wa fedha (SIG), Bi. Maria Kakai mwakilishi kutoka ofisi ya maendeleo ya jamii amesema kua, sheria ya sasa ya vikundi hivyo vya fedha vinawataka wanachama kuhakikisha wamesajili vikundi vyao serikalini na pia hawaruhusiwi kuvunja mzunguko wa kikundi kwa kuchukua fedha walizohifadhi ifikapo mwisho wa mwaka na badala yake wanatakiwa kufunga mzunguko kwa kugawana faida kulingana na mzunguko au faida ya kikundi iliyopatikana kulingana na mzunguko au biashara za kikundi na kuendeleza mzunguko wa kikundi.

Youth Peacemakers Tanzania Annual General Meeting 2023

The general meeting of the YPM Tanzania organization with the aim of evaluating the development of the organization, has been held in the Utondolo hall on April 15, 2023, attended by delegates, as well as government representatives from various areas of Tanga region.

The chairman of the meeting who is also the chairman of the Board of YPM Tanzania, Rev. Sembuyagi, managed to coordinate the meeting by managing the presentation of various reports including, financial report, implementation of activities, work plan for the implementation of YPM activities as well as the challenges and achievements in the organization for the year 2022.

In addition, the secretary of the meeting, who is also the Director of the YPM organization, Rev. Walalaze explained the various arguments raised by the members from the reports read, including the issue of land ownership which is still in the final stages of the agreement, the construction of sports grounds, the availability of investments for the development of the organization, along with the facilitation of young people.

Speaking about law and regulation guiding Saving and Investment Group(SIG), Mrs. Maria Kakai, a representative from the community development office, said that the current law of these financial groups requires members to ensure that they have registered their groups with the government, and they are also not allowed to divide shares amongst themselves and starts over again at the end of the group fiscal year and instead they are required to share dividend that was earned at the end of the year.
